After working for many years in the electronics industry, I made a change in direction and re-trained in Devon as a furniture maker. Now living and working in Devon near Tavistock, I make freestanding fine furniture for the home using solid hardwoods, both European and exotic and veneers.
	I use both traditional construction methods and more modern techniques such as vacuum laminating, as the design dictates. I mainly use oil finishes as they are hardwearing and can easily be repaired.
